BIS Computer Solutions Selected as International Buyer for Brasil IT+ Buyers Experience in Recife

GLENDALE, Calif., September 15, 2026: BIS Computer Solutions, Inc. has been selected to participate as an international buyer in the Brasil IT+ Buyers Experience in Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil. Michael Macho, Division President of BIS Computer Solutions, will represent the company during the program on September 16 and 17, 2026.
Organized by Softex through Brasil IT+, with support from the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency, ApexBrasil, the Buyers Experience connects qualified international buyers with selected Brazilian technology companies and startups. The program is designed to support business matchmaking, international partnerships, and the global expansion of Brazil’s technology sector.
Participation is based on evaluation rather than open conference registration. International buyers are nominated and assessed for their qualifications, compatibility, and alignment with the program’s business objectives.
“This is a working visit with a clear purpose,” said Macho. “We were selected to evaluate Brazilian technology companies, learn what they have built, and identify solutions and relationships that may create practical value for the markets and customers we serve. We want to arrive prepared to have detailed, productive conversations.”
The program begins with technical visits on September 16, followed by curated business meetings at CESAR on September 17. CESAR is a research, design, and innovation center and one of the founding institutions within Recife’s Porto Digital technology ecosystem.
Porto Digital has helped establish Recife as an important center for Brazil’s technology and creative industries. For BIS, the location offers access to a technology ecosystem that remains unfamiliar to many companies in the United States despite its depth of technical expertise and entrepreneurial activity.
Recife’s time-zone alignment also provides a practical advantage for potential collaboration. During the September program, Recife will be only one hour ahead of U.S. Eastern Daylight Time, allowing organizations in Brazil and the United States to operate across substantially overlapping business hours.
BIS began preparing for the visit before Michael’s departure. The company has made its website available in Brazilian Portuguese at biscomputer.com/pt-br/, enabling Brazilian companies to review BIS’s solutions and services in their preferred language before meeting with the company.
“Making our information available in Brazilian Portuguese was an important first step,” Macho added. “We do not view this as a ceremonial visit or a photo opportunity. We are investing time in understanding the market, communicating clearly, and being ready to evaluate real opportunities.”
The complete program runs from September 15 through September 18, including arrival, regional technology-ecosystem visits, curated business meetings, and departure.
